It gives me great pleasure to say that I've been supplying one of a kind, miniature collectable bears to Hamleys of London since October 2007. Hamleys is truly a wonderful store stocking bears from world renowned manufacturers like Steiff and highly respected artists too.

Bears in my first collection for Hamleys came in two sizes, 14cm and smaller ones at 10cm. I was delighted at how well they sold and with the store boasting such a large footfall of both British and foreign tourists, it would be lovely to think that Sambrook Bears are travelling to places I can only dream of visiting.

My second collection was delivered in time for Christmas 2007. Maybe some of my little bears were bought as gifts and sat neatly wrapped under a tree or in a Christmas stocking waiting to bring some seasons' cheer. Well a girl can dream!

In May and September 2008 two more collections were on display. The bears were accessorized with hand crafted outfits, crochet hats, dresses and blankets. Some were sitting in needle felted baskets and hand stitched cashmere bags.

A collection for May 2009 was designed, stitched and delivered and included amongst others, two pandas in vibrant jewel colours, two bears dressed for the occasion and a five way wobble jointed bear with a lovely and endearing movement when handled. Needless to say all the bears were sporting the Sambrook Bears' characteristic, upturned, polymer clay nose.


If you're ever in London for the day and find yourself in the West End why not visit Hamleys. It's an amazing store for kids and adults alike with so much to see. Oh and don't forget, at the back of the store, on the ground floor, there are little bruins just waiting for a hug!

The House of Bears in Bath started off as a small selection of adorable bears and has now exploded into a shop full to the brim with irresistible creations of all different shapes and sizes. From collectable bears from Steiff, bears big on personality from Charlie Bears and special one off hand made creations from talented Bear Artists. You will find them all at the House of Bears - just waiting to be hugged!
